Makes 6 Servings

1 ½ lb. lean ground beef

1 cup plain bread crumbs

1 Tbsp. Baton Rouge Burger Spice Blend (Red Stick Spice Co.)

1 onion, minced

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 Tbsp. olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup Jay D’s Louisiana Barbecue Sauce

Preheat oven to 350F. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Set aside to cool. Mix together remaining ingredients and form into loaf pan. Pour 1 cup barbecue sauce over top of loaf and baste every 15 min. Bake for 45 min. or when meatloaf reaches 160 degrees F.
