JAY D'S ASIAN BARBECUE SAUCE

1 cup of Jay D’s Louisiana Barbecue Sauce

3 oz. pineapple juice

2 tablespoons of dark brown sugar

1 1/2 tablespoons of fresh ginger, minced

3 1/2 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce

2 teaspoons of sesame oil

1 teaspoon of mirin

2 teaspoons of cornstarch

1 tablespoon of cold water

Combine all ingredients except cornstarch in a small saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes. Make a slurry with corn starch and cold water. Add slurry to sauce and bring back to a simmer. Allow to cool.
